27th September Junior B.S.J.A. This was the first BSJA show on the new cushion track surface. Needless to say, it was tested to the extreme by the tight turn specialists & was not found wanting. Parking in the carpark was organised this time ( special thanks to Paul )with trailers forming an orderly line down the middle of the show field which made for easy parking & no reversing. Weather was hot as was the competition.... thanks to Brenda & Peter in the box & Carol & Mike in the secretaries office. Special thanks to Andrea for Class 1 !!!

B.S.J.A. 12 October 2003 Today was going to difficult to call as there were two other BSJA shows running on the same day as Coombe Park. We were confident of good numbers as we had Two "Blue Chip" qualifiers but The Hand had the very popular amatuer championship qualifiers on the same day..... so what was going to happen? Well in the end the turn out was good & all the classes ran with good numbers. Particularly pleasing was the the first 1.25 held at Coombe Park which returned a healthy entry of nine starters. Here's to the Wednesday series & the weekend shows in the new year.....! As always many thanks to all the show crew, Paul, Tom, Jane, Jess, Peter, Brenda & John.

The early classes were on the light side today meaning that we all got to have supper at home... but larger numbers in the later classes meant we still had afternoon tea at jaspers... however the light numbers didn't affect the quality of the competition & we had some fizzing rounds against the clock, so thanks to everyone for some good sport. Well done to all our winners..... Once again thanks to all that made the show happen; Paul, Jaime, Tom, Alison, Diddy & Big Daddy Peter Stacey.....
